Corporate Spaces

The key issue involved with acoustics in corporate spaces is speech privacy. Clear speech intelligibility and appropriate background levels can also be issues in conference and meeting rooms.

Our architectural acoustics staff works with designers to create the aural environments appropriate for their intended uses. Analysis of building plans identify acoustical challenges and inform specification of practical wall design and material that optimize privacy in offices and speech intelligibility in conference and meeting rooms. We also create computer auralizations that allow clients to hear what a space will sound like before it's built. For privacy designs, clients can sample how much of a difference in noise reduction each wall type will make.
