Associate – Transportation Engineering and Planning
Burlington, VT
We currently seek an Associate to join our transportation engineering and planning practice in our Burlington office. This individual will assist with ongoing design projects and support our planning and traffic practice areas. This work is conducted in support of local and regional governments and a wide variety of private clients.
We seek someone with the following qualifications:

BS or MS in civil engineering
·
Strong verbal and written communication skills
·
A desire to advance towards becoming a transportation planning, traffic engineering and design professional
·
Proficiency with CAD (AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads) and GIS software
·
Concentration or experience in transportation engineering a plus
·
FE/EIT certification a plus
Associate – Market Research
White River Junction, VT
The Market Research practice specializes in complex, web-based research that employs advanced analytic methods. Associates are involved in all phases of the market research process. This person will be responsible for managing survey data collection teams, writing reports, conducting data analysis and supporting senior project staff. The ideal candidate is a team player who is extremely organized, detail oriented and resourceful. This person must also have strong communication, analytical and computer skills. The position requires periodic travel.

Experience or a desire to learn survey research methods and tools
Interviewers: Market Research
Periodic full-time work for 1-2 weeks per project
The Market Research practice conducts user-friendly computer-based intercept surveys to support its advanced analytic research methods. Interviewers travel in teams of 2-4 to survey sites that are usually in U.S. metro areas. Interviewers work in small teams to recruit participants and provide assistance to survey respondents who are intercepted in shopping malls, government offices, and other public locations. The ideal candidate is a team player who is good with people, bright, energetic, responsible, and resourceful. The position involves traveling intermittently for 1-2 weeks at a time. Scheduling is based on project needs and interviewer availability.

Associate – Quantitative Analysis

Associates work in teams and may work on projects spanning several practices including, but not limited to, Travel & Land Use Forecasting and Transportation Consumer Research, Planning & Design. Associates are involved in all phases of the analysis and forecasting process, including conducting data analysis, estimating statistical models, writing report results, and supporting senior project staff. The results of our quantitative research are used by public and private sector clients to plan for future energy, transportation, and land use demands.
