Business Writer (Part-Time)
White River Junction, VT
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the part-time Business Writer will assist with tasks related to requests for proposals (RFPs) and marketing collateral for a growing consulting firm. Primary responsibilities include developing proposals in response to solicitations from various agencies of federal and local governments; coordinating all information in format requested and according to company standards; producing drafts, editing and final text; creating and refreshing content for website and marketing slicks; and working with researchers to create white papers.
We anticipate this position to average approximately 20 hours per week with the option of working remotely.
We seek someone with the following qualifications:
- Superior writing and editing skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work independently but also function on a small, collaborative team
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding work products under tight deadlines
- Prior marketing communication experience preferred
