There are many ways to collect survey data to support market research needs. The costs and reliability can vary substantially across these methods in ways that depend on the details of the application.
RSG begins by determining the most appropriate survey method for our clients’ needs. We conduct online, intercept, telephone and mail surveys as appropriate to the project objectives. For some applications we use multiple methods to increase response rates and to address hard-to-reach populations.
To support this work, we use IVIStm, our own powerful survey software. Do-it-yourself web survey packages or the 3rd party software used by most other major market research vendors often require that research needs be compromised to fit the software’s limitations. Because we control the software, we can customize IVIStm to meet the needs of any research method and application. It has been used for 100s of major projects over the past 10 years.
