TURF (Total Unduplicated Reach and Frequency) analysis is useful for determining the optimal configuration of a product or set of products that maximizes market penetration. However, commonly available TURF software has a number of limitations, including an inability to deal with “large” problems. RSG staff co-own a patented method for large-scale TURF applications, and have developed their own TURF software that can be adapted to virtually any application. We have used TURF analysis in applications that range from media measurement to apparel to instructional materials.
