RSG helps clients assess and reduce noise impacts on communities. We can measure existing noise levels and model noise transmission from existing or proposed noise sources. We maintain our own facility for testing sound power and sound absorption. The facility can be used for testing hearing conservation devices (ear plugs, ear muffs, active noise control systems), product sound emissions, analyzing rail noise and vibration, sound absorption coefficients above 200 Hz, and sound intensity. We also provide training and educational programs in acoustical and noise control.
Many of our staff are board certified through the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. RSG is a member of the National Council of Acoustical Consultants.
