Sometimes getting the right answer is not enough. Sometimes being able to explain why the answer is right and why the answer is important is also required. This is particularly true in the realm where science meets public policy. Much of the work at RSG happens in this realm and we have built up an expertise of being able to explain complex, technical systems and the counterintuitive behavior they produce to policy people and the public.
Too often, much of the learning that happens around simulations is confined to a small subset of people. The Technology Solutions practice is committed to creating products and methods that bring this understanding to a larger group. We believe that this yields more community involvement and greater ownership in the result of models and simulation.
Our deep expertise in education software and gaming uniquely positions us to help clients and the general public explore complex issues and share their results. Our approach to training and public outreach supports deep understanding in an interesting and enjoyable setting. We strongly believe that this kind of understanding ultimately yields a broader level of acceptance.
