Transportation
Planning Services

RSG’s broad range of transportation planning services includes corridor studies, regional network modeling, traffic impact studies, and safety analyses. We have conducted studies at the local, state and regional level throughout North America.

Our transportation planning staff members have backgrounds in the fields of engineering, environmental science, economics, and computer science. We leverage that experience for our clients, linking transportation studies and analyses with the overall planning, economic, and environmental contexts in which they arise.

Examples of our work

•  Provided traffic circulation and parking planning expertise for a corporate office campus

•  Developed a guidebook on access management techniques for a town Planning Commission in subdivision proposals and site plan reviews

•  Optimized the best use of limited dollars through a city transportation Master Plan that recognized significant increases in traffic volume

Capabilities

•  Traffic simulation modeling

•  Traffic signal timing, phasing and coordination
