Commuter Rail OD and Passenger Count Survey

Client: MTA–Metro-North Railroad

• Conducted a comprehensive OD survey of customers on all inbound trains
• Conducted ridership counts on all 1,377 trains that run on the project’s three rail lines
• Distributed more than 230,000 surveys, of which more than 90,000 were returned
• Collected field data on weekdays and weekends over a 6-month period
