Statewide Integrated Land-use & Transportation Model
Client: Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise
- Provided support for development of a statewide integrated land-use and transportation model for Florida.
- Developed The Turnpike Statewide Model (TSM), a readily updateable GIS database framework, including the GDT/TeleAtlas road network and Florida’s Roadway Characteristics Inventory.
- Developed toll investment studies throughout the Fort Myers and Orlando regions. Provided a custom land-use model built from parcel data to consistently and defensibly allocate growth throughout the state.
- Expanded the TSM to be applied to toll investment studies on I-75 throughout the Fort Myers and Orlando regions.
